What if I've never done anything like this before?

Most people haven't. A professional host guides the talk-show segment, and a stage manager runs the day around you. The format is built to make this easier than presenting cold, not harder.
Do I need to prepare a speech?

For the keynote segment, bring a topic you know well, a few minutes of material is enough. The talk-show segment is a guided conversation, nothing to prepare beyond showing up.
What do I actually walk away with?

Can I do this without going through the Audit first?

Yes. Build Day works as its own starting point. The Audit is recommended if you're not sure what you need yet, but it isn't required to book a seat.
